Vyacheslav Volodin cited seven facts about the reasons why Washington and Brussels lost “the war of attrition” against Russia

According to Chairman of the State Duma, those seven facts mean either the surrender of the Kiev regime on the terms of the Russian Federation, or that Ukraine will cease to exist as a state

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
posted on his Telegram channel that “Biden, Stoltenberg and other Western officials started to speak about the conflict in Ukraine as “the war of attrition”. They have spent huge amounts of money to militarize the Kiev regime.”

However, according to Vyacheslav Volodin, that has already led to lack of weapons and ammunition in Western states: “This June, British Defense Minister Wallace said that Western countries had run out of national stocks of weapons that could be supplied to Kiev. In July, Biden, for his part, admitted that the decision to send cluster bombs to Ukraine was made because there were no more conventional weapons.”

“The trust of the population of Europe and the United States of America in politicians has been lost. The disapproval ratings for the heads of the EU states and the USA are at a historical high level. 57% of people do not support Biden’s activities, 69% — Macron, 72% — Scholz. The majority of citizens of the United States of America and European countries stand against the supply of weapons to Ukraine,” the Chairman of the State Duma cited the second fact.

The third fact is that the counteroffensive of the Kiev regime has failed. “The Ukrainian soldiers, supported by NATO, suffered huge losses in equipment and manpower. As there are no results, it is a disappointment for Western sponsors,” he added.

“The fourth fact: the economies of the eurozone countries are affected by recession. Germany is forced to cut social payments to low-income families due to the needs of militarizing the Kiev regime. In France, the number of aid recipients was reduced; food packages were no longer given to those in need and stopped reimbursement of costs of the purchase of medicines. International agencies, expecting deterioration of the financial situation in the USA in the next three years, have lowered the long-term investment rating of the United States,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.

The fifth fact, according to the Chairman of the State Duma, is the shortage of soldiers in the Ukrainian army. “The Kiev regime is mobilizing men over 50 years, as well as patients with tuberculosis, viral hepatitis, HIV, etc. From October 1, 2023, women should also be registered for the military draft. Nurses, doctors, and pharmacists will be prohibited from leaving Ukraine,” he emphasized.

“The sixth fact: Ukraine is bankrupt. Ukraine's GDP fell by 30.4% in 2022—the worst result in the country's history. Without the help of Washington and Brussels, Kiev cannot fulfill its obligations to its citizens. Ukraine has lost its financial independence,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

Finally, the seventh fact is the demographic catastrophe in Ukraine: “More than 10.5 million people ran away from Ukraine. Another 11.2 million people from Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as Zaporozhye and Kherson regions made their choice to be with Russia. Since 2014, Ukraine has lost 53.7% of its population.”

“These seven facts speak for themselves: either the surrender of the Kiev regime on the terms of the Russian Federation, or Ukraine will cease to exist as a state,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
