was one of Russia’s key economic partners in Europe. It was receiving our cheap
energy resources. Germany was developing. We, for our part, were getting income
for our state budget and developing our capabilities. All of these were built
on the principles of mutually beneficial cooperation,” he stressed.
According to Vyacheslav Volodin, now it can only be remembered as a period, “when Germany not less, but even more defended its country’s position by pursuing a policy of building relations based on national and people’s interests.”
“The current leadership of Germany with its head Merz, instead of solving problems of their own citizens and thinking about the country, made A STRATEGIC MISTAKE,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma. “MERZ BECAME AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN MILITARY ACTIVITY ON THE SIDE OF UKRAINE. He is financing the Kiev neo-Nazi regime and sending weapons AT THE EXPENSE OF THE PEOPLE OF GERMANY,” he added.
The Chairman of the State Duma emphasized that “it was not enough for him”. “During all the election campaign ahead of the elections to the State Duma, we revealed numerous facts of interference by state structures of Germany. We heard assessments of the results of elections, as well as discrediting facts and non-recognition even before the elections began,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.
The Chairman of the State Duma recalled that at the same period of time when there was conducted an election campaign for the State Duma, the Federal Republic of Germany also held elections for the state parliaments. “Our position is unequivocal and it has not changed: this is an internal affair of a sovereign state. People of each country make their own decisions independently when they decide on their future by electing their representatives in power,” he added.
“Today, when we know the results, we can congratulate our colleagues on the completion of the election campaign. And its outcomes. People of the Federal Republic of Germany made their decision.
