added.
He recalled that the elections were held for the first time in Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as in Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. “People showed resilience and civic responsibility: they went to polling stations under attacks and bombing, as they wanted to vote to strengthen Russia’s sovereignty,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.
“OUR PRESIDENT VLADIMIR VLADIMIROVICH PUTIN SUPPORTED THE UNITED RUSSIA PARTY AND THIS SUPPORT HELPED IMPROVE ITS RESULTS. People united around our head of state. They heard his call that ‘PARTICIPATION IN THE ELECTIONS IS OUR JOINT CONTRIBUTION TO RUSSIA’S VICTORY’”, emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
The Chairman of the State Duma posted: “THE ELECTIONS HAVE SHOWN THAT THE PARTY SYSTEM IS RESISTENT TO CHALLENGES. IT IS ABLE TO SELF-DEVELOP IN ORDER TO OVERCOME THEM.”
“THE ELECTION CAMPAIGN WAS HELD ON A COMPETITIVE BASIS. THE LEGITIMACY WAS PROVED BY INTERNATIONAL OBSERVERS AS WELL (1,126 international observers and electoral experts from 133 countries and 13 organizations),” he also noted.
“At the same time, the elections were held in extremely difficult conditions. The collective West made active attempts to interfere with the voting process: cyberattacks, attacks by Ukrainian drones on polling stations, information provocations. BUT THEY DID NOT SUCCEED! AND THEY WILL NEVER SUCCEED!” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.
“ONLY THE PEOPLE OF OUR COUNTRY DECIDE ON RUSSIA’S FATE AND FUTURE,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who took part in the elections to the State Duma. “THE PARTICIPATION RATE AND RESULTS OBLIGE US A LOT. WE WILL TRY TO DO OUR BEST TO JUSTIFY THE GIVEN TRUST,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
