Vyacheslav Volodin: Kiev regime is committing crimes in coordination with Washington
Chairman of the State Duma once again noted the fact that time had proved that President of Russia made a right decision to start the special military operation

in his speech at the opening of the autumn session
recalled that an extraordinary meeting of the Council of the State Duma had
been held in the summer and members of the State Duma had adopted a statement on the threats caused by the shelling by the Kiev regime of the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.
“We sent it to foreign parliaments, 87 have already received the text of the statement. There is a response,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to him, many states share Russia's concerns about the situation at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant. “At the same time, we see that the US parliament and parliaments of the European countries are silent on this issue. It is obvious that the Kiev regime is committing its crimes in coordination with Washington,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma and added that Kiev’s terrorist actions “bring the world to the brink of a nuclear catastrophe”.
“We cannot let that happen. Time has once again proved that our President made a right decision to start a special military operation,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.
He added that the week before the situation in Ukraine was discussed with parliamentarians from China. “In their opinion, Washington left Russia no other choice. More and more states in the world understand that,” said the Chairman of the State Duma. According to him, more than 80% of the world population did not support the sanctions against Russia, and “every day the real essence of Washington and Brussels is becoming clearer.”
According to Vyacheslav Volodin, in this regard, the role of such international organizations as BRICS, SCO, CSTO, EAEU is growing.
“The key advantage of these organizations is that they are based on the principles of mutual respect and non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states,” he said.
International agenda of the State Duma
Vyacheslav Volodin informed about active international activities of the State Duma during the autumn session the State Duma.
“There will be meetings within the framework of the CSTO PA, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia. Conference of Speakers of the Parliaments on Countering Terrorism and Strengthening Regional Connectivity is also planned to be held,” he said.
