The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
posted on his
Telegram channel that Scholz's party was soundly defeated in the regional elections
in Thuringia and Saxony, taking 5th and 4th place respectively, barely meeting
the required threshold of 5%. “It has lost considerably to the opposition — the Alternative for Germany and the Christian Democratic Union. As well as to the new party — Bündnis Sahra Wagenknecht and to the Left Party in Thuringia,” he
noted.
“Scholz's partners in the ruling coalition from the Green Party did not get seats in the parliament in Thuringia, and in Saxony it balanced on the edge until the very end. The Free Democrats will not have parliamentary seats in any region,” added the Chairman of the State Duma.
“Similar trends can be seen in other regions of Germany — the Scholz government is unpopular,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to the Chairman of the State Duma, it has become obvious to everyone that Scholz does not prioritize the development of Germany and solving the problems of its citizens. “The German economy is in crisis, enterprises are moving to the United States. The loss of cheap Russian energy resources has led to the non-competitiveness of their production,” he noted.
“Scholz dragged his country into the war in Ukraine. Today, Germany is the main supplier of weapons to the Kiev Nazi regime and its sponsor. All this is happening not only in conditions of economic stagnation, but also in an ineffective migration policy,“ emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
“Taking into account the results of the voting in Saxony and Thuringia, it is difficult to imagine how he and his government can be leaders of Germany for another year. The election results have shown that the citizens of Germany do not want to lose their country,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
