Therefore, it is clear why the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky is trying to drag European states into the conflict, according to Vyacheslav Volodin: “That is another attempt to drag the world into a third world war. Russia is a peaceful state and will never fight with any European country.”
“Today we are fighting Nazism, and this issue should be an issue of concern for all countries. In that case, we would not have had the bloody Kiev Nazi regime, we would not have had the problems that all European states have faced,” the Chairman of the State Duma is convinced.
According to Vyacheslav Volodin, the current events are the consequences of the refusal of the leaders of the United States of America, Germany and France to discuss the Ukrainian issue within the framework of negotiations.
“The goals of the special military operation will be achieved. Ukraine must be free, must be a neutral state, there must be no weapons in Ukraine that are imported from foreign states. And, of course, the Kiev Nazi regime must be brought to justice. For our part, we should do everything to ensure that these goals could be achieved as soon as possible,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.
In addition, Vyacheslav Volodin supported the approach of developing relations with Russia’s friends, as their number is growing. “This is a good response to Washington pursuing a colonial ideology and colonial policy towards all countries. Most countries in the world support the construction of a multipolar model and a just world order. Therefore, we should do everything on our part to strengthen these ties,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.
According to him, it has become obvious to everyone that the USA has lost its leading position in the world primarily due to the lack of trust: for example, a third of the UN member states prefer to make payments in national currencies, realizing that Washington uses dollar as a tool of political influence and manipulation. Nevertheless, the USA is trying to restore its dominance by any means.
“This desire to restore dominance, the desire to maintain hegemony and a unipolar world leads to conflicts and increased tensions. We see what is happening in Yemen — the bombing of peaceful cities. We see that this is a continuation of the policy that was started earlier, when the cities of Syria, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yugoslavia were bombed. It has not started recently. And now we know answers to many questions about the situation in Ukraine, where a coup was supported by Washington and Brussels and the Nazis came to power, pursuing a policy of extermination of their people,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
