The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
, it is planned to discuss organizational issues and implementation of decisions of the Supreme State Council of the Union State. In addition, the State
Secretary of the Union State of Russia and Belarus Dmitry Mezentsev is expected
to address the meeting participants.
“We will also discuss double standards of the European countries in relation to refugees on the territory of Belarus,” the Chairman of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin told reporters.
The Chairman of the State Duma added that the Council of the State Duma on Wednesday approved the composition of the representatives of the State Duma at the Parliamentary Assembly. The delegation of the Federal Assembly includes 36 members, 24 of them are members of the State Duma.
“There are representatives of all factions, respected deputies, who have experience, representing the regions bordering Belarus. There are also the Chairmen of the Committees, who will help to implement the programs approved by the Supreme State Council of the Union State,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
He added that the delegation would also include representatives of the Committee on Defense and the Committee on Transport and Development of Transport Infrastructure.
