“We would like to establish cooperation on the exchange of legislative experience,” said the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, noting that it is necessary to intensify contacts at the level of relevant committees, commissions and friendship groups.
In his turn, the Chairman of the State Duma invited Nuriddinjon Ismailov to Moscow, and urged to intensify joint work on inter-parliamentary platforms ”to discuss model legislative approaches through these formats and seek solutions to common problems and challenges.“
“I hope we will meet more often,” said Viacheslav Volodin. He invited the delegation of Uzbekistan to participate in the Conference on Counter-Terrorism and Interregional Cooperation, which will be held in October in Istanbul.
During the meeting, Viacheslav Volodin and Nuriddinjon Ismailov discussed the development of relations in various fields, including economics, business and humanitarian cooperation.

The Chairman of the State Duma paid special attention to the respectful attitude to the Russian language in Uzbekistan: it is studied in more than 900 schools and in all universities.
