recalled that the day before the law adopted by the State Duma on the possibility of recognizing foreign organizations founded by foreign government structures as undesirable in Russia came into force.

“In this regard, we have prepared materials that will be sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office on the participation of a number of such organizations in subversive anti-Russian activities,” said the parliamentarian.

“We propose to include in the “expulsion” list, among others, the British Council, which performs intelligence activities in the Russian Federation under the guise of humanitarian projects, and the media corporation Deutsche Welle, which not only actively stamps information saboteurs, including Russian journalists, but also is involved in other anti-Russian media campaigns,” said Vasily Piskarev.

According to him, the parliamentarians propose to prohibit all their activities in Russia. “We mean blocking their accounts, closing their branches and offices, and banning the distribution of information materials. “And for those who continue to cooperate or establish contacts with them, will be subject to administrative and criminal liability,” added the Chairman of the Committee.
