posted on his Telegram channel that 52.5% of voters came to the polls in France, and it was the highest participation rate in European elections since 1994; Marine Le Pen's National Rally party receives almost 32% of the votes, Macron's Renaissance party received only 15.2%.

“This is the collapse of Macron’s policy, which he acknowledged by dissolving the National Assembly and announcing snap parliamentary elections,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.

Scholz’s party had shown the worst election results in history, as noted the Chairman of the State Duma. According to him, the Social Democrats received about 14%, losing not only to the Christian Democrats (30%), but also to the Eurosceptics from the Alternative for Germany (16%). Scholz's ruling coalition has lost the support of the Germans, the opposition urge to pass a vote of no confidence in the Government or hold snap elections, added Vyacheslav Volodin.

“The results in France and Germany are predictable. The economy is stagnating, there is a migration crisis, countries are drawn into the war in Ukraine, which is contrary to their national interests,” noted the Chairman of the State Duma.

Macron and Scholz are clinging to power with their last strength, according to Vyacheslav Volodin. “It would be right for them to resign and stop mocking the citizens of their states,” he concluded.
