The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
emphasized that in the history of our country, all
external challenges only had united people: “We united, did everything to protect Russia, the Soviet Union. And no one could defeat the country.”
“There is enormous consolidation in our society today. The presidential election showed this: there is enormous support. This consolidation was the main target of the terrorists,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to him, they tried to undermine the unity of the multinational people of Russia.
“Terrorists and those who are behind them — the bloody Ukrainian regime, Washington, Brussels — hope such terrorist attacks could divide our society, sow discord and enmity, including interethnic. We must do everything to ensure that their plans cannot come true. We must do everything to make our consolidation even stronger,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
A lot depends now on universal unity, according to the Chairman of the State Duma. “Our guys are fighting in the trenches on the front line. It is important that all those who are behind them must be united. It is important that there is support here,” he added.
