Members of the State Duma appealed to the Parliament of France regarding the participation of French mercenaries in the military conflict in Ukraine

Members of the State Duma expressed regret that the authorities of France “which once stood together with our country as one of the initiators of military and political détente in Europe, are only prolonging the agony of the Nazi regime in Kiev through their actions”

The State Duma adopted the appeal to the National Assembly of the French Republic regarding the participation of French mercenaries in the criminal acts of the Kiev regime.

“Parliament is a collegial body. We appeal to those who stand for a strong, sovereign France; to those who care about France, respect the memory of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers just as we respect; those who understand what fascism is, and, understanding this, will never help the Nazis in Ukraine,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin Volodin Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin

at the plenary meeting. “But they do not have enough information. Perhaps our appeal will help many of them to make the right decision. And this means that together we will build a multipolar world, a fair world order and will not make World War III happen,” he added.

“Despite the fact that official authorities in Paris deny the participation of French mercenaries in the military conflict in Ukraine, and mercenarism is prohibited by French law, objective information on losses within mercenary neo-Nazi units reliably shows the opposite,” the document says.

“Today we have to respond to ourselves, to our constituents: who are we dealing with when we talk about France and the French? With the ideological heirs of the legendary French President General de Gaulle, with the great-grandchildren of the heroic pilots of the Normandie-Niemen air regiment who crushed the Nazis together with our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, or with the supporters of the collaborator-criminal Marshal Pétain and with the SS men of the Charlemagne division who unsuccessfully tried to defend their Hitlerite masters at the walls of the Reichstag in Berlin? For what do the French die on Ukrainian soil today?” as it was noted in the document.

On January 17, the Russian Ministry of Defence reported that a highly accurate strike destroyed a temporary deployment point of foreign fighters in Kharkov, most of them were French mercenaries. According to the Ministry, over 60 militants were eliminated.
