“Shares of the largest American arms companies skyrocketed in price after the sharp escalation of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This is evidenced by the recent trading data on the stock exchange,” posted the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin Volodin Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin

on his Telegram channel.

“Washington always used tragedies of millions of people to satisfy its own economic interests,” he stressed.

The Chairman of the State Duma recalled that following World War I, the US GDP nearly doubled: “First of all, due to the fact that the US military-industrial complex had a lot of orders. The term “military millionaire” appeared at that time.”

“The USA had turned into lender from debtor, and the USD displaced the British pound and became the world currency,” he added.

“Washington managed to use World War II to increase its economic strength. The USA lent the military assistance to its allies. The UK and the USSR were the main Lend-Lease recipients. By the way, our country paid off the Soviet Lend-Lease debt in full only in 2006,” noted Vyacheslav Volodin.

“Decades have passed, but the US methods have not changed. We saw the same situations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, and Syria. And now there is the same situation in Ukraine. As we say – ‘to whom is war, and to whom is mother dear’,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

“Washington fuels the armed conflicts for its own enrichment. And now the US aircraft carriers are heading to the coasts of Palestine and Israel not to bring peace, but to start another war beneficial for the USA,” concluded Vyacheslav Volodin.
