The situation in the world had changed: Washington and Brussels launched a war against our country, as emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin. According to him, modern challenges require new solutions.
Vladimir Putin in his speech also stressed that the Russian Federation had successfully tested the Burevestnik, a global-range cruise missile with a nuclear propulsion system, and is ready to produce the Sarmat, a super-heavy missile. “This is very important for ensuring the security of our country”, emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
“We will definitely discuss the issue of withdrawal of ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty at the next meeting of the Council of the State Duma. This goes in line with the national interests of our state. And it will be a mirror response to the US activity, as the USA has not ratified the Treaty yet,” added the Chairman of the State Duma.
