recalled
that the US national debt had exceeded 31 trillion USD for the first time. The current US debt is more than 30% of the world's GDP.
“An exorbitant growth of the US national debt shows that Washington does not intend to pay it back,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.
He is convinced that the US officials will do everything to solve today's problems at the expense of other states. “In the current situation, the European Union will be used for this purpose,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.
“A bubble inflated with printed US dollars could burst soon. The economies of other countries would be affected. To a lesser extent, this would affect sovereign states, especially those that do not depend on the USD,” he concluded.
