Vyacheslav Volodin: the USA wanted to rule the world and ruined old European states

According to the Chairman of the State Duma, a systematic crisis in Europe will only be worsening. And neither the USA, nor the European leaders, controlled by the USA, need the peace in Ukraine

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
told that in an interview to the “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” programme on TV channel Rossiya 1.

According to him, the current systemic crisis and the situation in Ukraine were caused by those politicians who came to power in the USA and Europe.

“It is based on the fact the United States of America wanted to rule the world and simply ruined the old European states, promoting young politicians, who fully supported the United States of America,” he said.

According to the Chairman of the State Duma, as a result, the leaders of European states have lost the opportunity to express their opinion during the discussions, especially in Europe. “Now they all just agree. In some cases, maybe France is still trying to express its point of view, but usually unsuccessfully,” added Vyacheslav Volodin.

He recalled that in the European Union decisions were made by the majority, completely controlled by the US: countries that do not have their own sovereignty, such as Poland and the Baltic states. “These are satellites of the United States of America. It is they who set the tone in European politics,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.

Countries such as Germany, France and Italy are weakened, as there are no independent politicians, while there is support of those who are absolutely controlled by Washington.

“There is crisis in Europe. And it will only get worse. Because talking about the same energy resources, European countries used to get cheap resources from Russia, and now they are replaced by more expensive resources from the United States of America. And in general, the economy of European states was affected, and it will continue to deteriorate, just as it has already happened to the national currency, the euro, which no longer competes with the USD,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.

“The United States of America has achieved its goal: Europe is not its competitor anymore. But as for Europe itself, of course, it definitely does not benefit from this situation,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

According to him, the conflict in Ukraine is an attempt to make Russia weak. “When the first world economy loses its position, there have always been wars, and especially along the areas of the influence of the empire, which was losing its dominant position,” recalled Vyacheslav Volodin.

“Therefore, now the most important thing is to prevent a big disaster. Our President has done everything to ensure the security of our country, to protect the citizens of the Donetsk People's Republic, the Lugansk People's Republic, citizens of Russia and compatriots,” he stressed.

“If there had not been a decision to start a special military operation, something terrible would have happened. He prevented such situation. There had already been troops at the borders of Donbass, and all this could have ended in a humanitarian catastrophe, with a huge number of victims. And it could lead to the worst scenario: the world could have actually faced the terrible, even the start of a big war,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.

He added that it would be possible to resolve the current situation by peaceful means, but neither the United States of America nor those countries, that echoes the US, need that. “The UK, Boris Johnson, one of such supporters of aggravating the situation through military actions, he is not a peace supporter. Those politicians do not think about the future and they do not care about the fate of Ukrainians, as they consider them as expendable items,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
