The Chairman of the LPR People's Council Denis Miroshnichenko addressed members of the State Duma at the plenary session.
The Chairman of the LPR Parliament stressed that Lugansk “is at the forefront of events aimed at protecting the Russian world”.
“The events of 2014, when a coup took place in Kiev, were not supported by the residents of Donbass, and no one could think that “banderization” would be imposed by the new authorities. The country's leadership simply abandoned our citizens,” said Denis Miroshnichenko.
According to him, Donbass and Lugansk were provided with Russia's humanitarian aid, and the residents of these regions were grateful for that.
“Only Russia did not let the heart of Donbass stop beating,” added the Chairman of the LPR Parliament.
Denis Miroshnichenko also said that people living in the liberated territories, already could see a return to their roots. And the residents of Donbass are thankful to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, because Russia stayed with Lugansk in difficult times, as he added.
“Sooner or later we will see the historical moment when Donbas overcomes all the difficulties,” Denis Miroshnichenko stressed.
He also expressed his gratitude to the friendship group with the parliamentarians from the Russian Federation for their help in improving the legislation according to Russian standards. He called it a basis for further steps.
“No matter what lies and propaganda are there, no matter what resources are used by the Western states, the Russian heart beats thanks to Russia. Donbass is an outpost of the Russian world,” concluded Denis Miroshnichenko.
The delegation of the LPR People's Council also plans to discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation with representatives of all State Duma factions and committees.
