The Chairman of the State Duma noted the fact that the economies of the USA, Japan, Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Canada “continue cracking under pressure of sanctions imposed against Russia”: in the first quarter of 2022, a 1.5% fall in GDP was recorded in the USA, and inflation reached the highest level since December 1981 and reached 8.6%.

According to him, the group of eight countries not participating in the sanctions wars — China, India, Russia, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, Iran, Turkey, has collective GDP PPP is higher up to 24.4% than the G8’s GDP.
“The United States of America had created all the conditions for countries that want to build an equal dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation to actually establish a “new G8” together with Russia,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin.
Experiencing economic difficulties, the US authorities continue to create tensions in the world and try to do everything to solve the problems at the expense of others, he added.
“And that will definitely lead to decline of hegemony in the world,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
