“Mr.Zelensky would hardly have decided to take such steps that could lead to the outbreak of war in the center of Europe without foreign support,” he added.
“The reasons of Washington’s accusations against Russia have become clear,” stressed Vyacheslav Volodin. He emphasized that “it is nothing more than a provocation on the part of the Western states aimed at misinforming the world community”.
“They have created a non-existent threat, and then attacked civilians of the DPR and LPR, and even already decided who they should blame,” wrote the Chairman of the State Duma.
“They do not care that Kiev undermines the Minsk agreements by its actions. They are well aware of the tragedy which could happen, so they have already evacuated their diplomats from Kiev,” he explained.
“Does Europe understand the current situation? European leaders are silent. If the war starts, it will be Europe that will be the scene of military activities,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
He addressed the parliamentarians of European countries: “You should ask your voters if they want war. And what are you doing to prevent it? Russia does not want war. Our President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly states that and continue to state that. But if there is a threat to the lives of citizens of the Russian Federation and compatriots living in the DPR and LPR, our country will protect them,” concluded the Chairman of the State Duma.
