Meeting participants discussed issues of cooperation in such areas like family and children protection, social and youth policy

held a working meeting with the Minister of Foreign
Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Inal Ardzinba. The meeting participants
discussed topical issues of social cooperation and strengthening
inter-parliamentary cooperation. Members of the State Duma Committee on Issues
of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the State Duma Department of International cooperation also took part in the meeting.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia noted the republic's interest in enhancing bilateral cooperation. In particular, Inal Ardzinba emphasized the importance of implementing social projects, holding joint events, expanding programs to support the young people of the republic.
Anna Kuznetsova noted the current level of cooperation between Russia and Abkhazia in such areas like social support and child protection. She paid special attention to the organization of work with young people in the republic, “as they are the basis on which the future of the state is built”.
“Joint efforts help to create new resources for addressing the current challenges,” said the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma.
Anna Kuznetsova and Inal Ardzinba agreed to enhance cooperation, exchange experience and best practices in such areas like family protection, social and youth policy.
