in an interview to Rossiya 24 channel “And if we talk about Japanese
officials, they should remember the history of their state. They should remember
these times when Militaristic Japan killed millions of civilians,” he added.
He recalled that Militaristic Japan and its Kwantung army killed civilians.
According to Vyacheslav Volodin, modern Japanese officials try to use the same militant rhetoric. “Do not do this! It is impossible to defeat a nuclear power, and Russia is a nuclear state. In other case, it will only raise tensions in relations. It is better to build relations on the principles of friendship, reciprocity, non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states, and, of course, mutually beneficial cooperation,” he concluded.
