“Who is responsible for that? The USA. The USA destroyed Libya, Iraq and Syria. You know what happened in Afghanistan. As a result, there are a lot of refugees going to other countries,” he said.

“It would be right if NATO took and shared the responsibility, as well as provided assistance to Belarus, helped refugees, gave them what they needed,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

He emphasized that not a single state had benefited from the US and NATO intervention.

“The position of the Russian Federation and the Parliamentary Assembly is unequivocal: there should be no double standards, there should be no interference in the affairs of sovereign states. And, of course, there should be common approaches,” concluded Vyacheslav Volodin.
