The Chairman of the Commission, Chairman of the Committee on Security and Corruption Control Vasilii
Vasily Ivanovich said that the Commission had sent the materials to the Secretariat of the Parliamentary Assembly as there were a lot of appeals of parliamentarians — representatives of the CSTO member states.
“We sent our counterparts some materials including freeze frames of videos, as well as screenshots of documents of undesirable foreign non-governmental organizations related on such issues as meddling in elections, “color revolutions” techniques and instructions for collecting confidential and other classified information on the territories of the former Soviet republics, interference in drug policy, and drug use promotion, and distortion of history,” Vasilii Piskarev told journalists.
“The materials that we have sent to the CSTO also contain information which our counterparts had requested earlier. The information includes legislative measures developed by the Commission that will help to address those challenges and threats,” said the Chairman of the Commission.
