Chairman of the State Duma met with President of Tajikistan
Meeting of Viacheslav Volodin and Emomali Rahmon was held on July 1 in Dushanbe during the working visit of the Chairman of the State Duma to the Republic of Tajikistan
The Chairman of the State Duma conveyed to the President of Tajikistan warm words of greetings from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
and Emomali Rahmon discussed issues of bilateral cooperation and development of relations between Russia and Tajikistan. The Chairman of the State Duma
stressed that “the parliaments of the two states are doing a lot to provide
legislative support for decisions taken by heads of the states.”
Viacheslav Volodin and Emomali Rahmon also discussed role of the CSTO and the CSTO PA in addressing security issues of the member states and issues related to creations of a single list of terrorist organizations.
