The Chairman of the State Duma stressed that the parties actively supported the dialogue.
“We see the impact of the pandemic. Such difficult time is almost over. Therefore, I hope that we will be able to meet within the framework of the CSTO PA in the near future, as those events will be held on July 1,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
The meeting participants also discussed the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. Both sides noted the contribution of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the settlement of the conflict.
“Our President has done a lot to stop this conflict, which could turn into a terrible situation,” stressed Viacheslav Volodin.
Ararat Mirzoyan noted very special, fraternal relations between Russia and Armenia with a centuries-old history. “These relations are relations of strategic partners, allies,” he stressed.
“I am convinced that no one doubts that our cooperation will continue to develop dynamically and to strengthen,” said Ararat Mirzoyan.
