Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast) noted the fact that many citizens of the Russian Federation, who were glad to live and work in Europe, “now, in the pandemic conditions and as they see the real situation with the healthcare systems in many European countries, they want to ger out of there there and do everything to get treatment in Russia”.

“It would be right to include in the agenda all the issues related to protection of human health, protection of life, and providing assistance in the pandemic conditions,” said the Chairman of the State Duma. He also stressed that it would be right to discuss the issues of vaccines availability and promotion of Russian vaccines to the European market.

“We see many examples of attempts to halt using of the Russian vaccine in European states. People keep dying. You are still waiting for being vaccinated. And you will not get vaccines until June. Who is responsible for that? Why there is such a situation, when there are vaccines, but people are not able to receive them? Where are the fundamental rights of the citizens? We are representatives of European states and there is a Parliamentary Assembly, so why do not we discuss these issues at the Assembly?” asked Viacheslav Volodin.
