Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs is convinced that Washington’s unfair competition with Moscow hits the European companies

maniacal persistence is trying to derail the implementation of projects on construction
of the gas lines Nord Stream 2 and TurkStream. The inclusion of restriction measures
against those energy projects in the draft defense budget with simultaneous amendments
to the Protecting Europe’s Energy Security Act should be a negative signal, especially
for European partners. As Washington’s unfair competition between and Moscow

“The USA is ready to use their sanctions mechanisms against half of the countries in the world to promote their own economic interests. In fact, this is real state blackmail and terror, covered behind imaginary intentions to protect the security of the European allies of the United States. The less they in Brussels will do what Washington says, the safer our European continent will be,” the parliamentarian stressed.
