He recalled about numerous issues that should be discussed in a bilateral format and in the framework of the Commission’s work, which should consider very specific issues, including, issues of economic and inter-parliamentary cooperation.
“Therefore, this trip would be the first foreign trip in 2020,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.
“Next year we plan to visit some other countries like Vietnam, Serbia, Iran, Turkey,” he added.
“The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament plans to visit Russia before the end of the year, next week the Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic will pay a visit to Russia, the Speaker of the Parliament of Tajikistan was in Russia last week. So, as you can see, the international agenda becomes more eventful,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
“We are gradually returning to traditional formats of communication. This is encouraging and gives us hope that next year, in relation to the pandemic, will definitely be a crucial year for us,” he concluded.
