“There are countries that do not want Russia to develop because our country becomes stronger. Russia is going to be a key player in the international arena,” he said. “Our economy is growing and they do not like it, the strength of the country is also not good for them, so they are trying to find any occasion”.
Thus, according to Viacheslav Volodin Volodin
Vyacheslav Victorovich The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast) , the situation with Alexey Navalny is just a provocation ”of foreign countries, Western powers, the United States of America, and that state, of course, is a puppet master.“
”And many countries support that provocation toeing the US line,“ he stressed, and added that that the main goal was ”to stop the development of Russia by using sanctions.“ “It will not work,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.
Viacheslav Volodin recalled that the pilots, doctors, the President of the Russian Federation had done everything to save the life of the person, regardless of his political views and attitude.
“In that case, a human life did not mean anything to them [Western states – editorial remark], only the provocation was important, just like it happened with the Skripals. And the situation with Alexey Navalny took place just when the crisis in Belarus started, and it was important for them that our country did not support Belarus, so that they could meddle in the situation in Belarus and could do everything as they did in Ukraine,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.
“The citizens of Belarus should choose their own future, they are the source of power, and not the representatives of the USA, Poland, Lithuania and other countries should decide the fate of Belarus,” emphasized Viacheslav Volodin.
He added that the State Duma planned to consider a statement on the situation in the UN at the plenary meeting on September 15.
“We are convinced that it is entirely necessary to strengthen the United Nations and continue cooperation within the framework of this organization, recognizing the primacy of the organization and being aware of the opportunity to participate in development of solutions together. The work should be based on these principles, and none of the other ones,” he noted. “Therefore, we fully support the work of this institute and consider some recent statements, including those made by the Congress of the United States of America, unacceptable. They believe that if this organization is located in the United States, so it should be a captive organization.“
