Chairman of the State Duma: it is necessary to expedite the adoption of model acts to harmonize the legislation of the CSTO member states

said that at the meeting of the CSTO PA
Council, which was held via videoconference for the first time.
The Chairman of the State Duma stressed that the adoption of model acts within the framework of the CSTO PA is an effective mechanism for strengthening coordination, which has proven its relevance in the field of countering terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, and organized crime.
Viacheslav Volodin noted the importance of implementing the adopted model acts in the national legislation of the member states, and it would help to establish a common legal security space.
