At the same time, he noted that medical science in the United States has achieved a lot, but its healthcare system is not in line with the democracy that it preaches.
“When we talk about healthcare and medical science, as life has shown, healthcare is better in Russia than in the US, even though its medical science achieved a lot and somewhere even more than ours. But 27 million people were thrown, actually thrown idle. And therefore, there is such a large number of deaths, because they do not have the opportunity to use medical care, because they don’t have medical insurance,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.
“As for the United States example, it gives citizens what cannot help them. It must
also be clarified. Because everyone sees that some countries make such
decisions, but why they make them and why we need to follow a different path
today [it would be right] to clarify to people, too, because citizens ask us
such questions,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
At the same time, the issue of supporting citizens and small and medium enterprises is a priority now for the authorities, but support measures should be effective and really help people.
“The actions of our Government are targeted, and I support it in this issue. And what Viacheslav Viktorovich said is very important. In the end, our money is not unlimited, and it is important that it comes to those who are most affected, the most vulnerable,” said the head of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina, and noted that the Government is following this path now.
