The Russian delegation, which is taking part in the session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna, has proposed to the heads of delegations of the CSTO member-states to sign a Declaration condemning attempts to revise the results of World War II. Earlier, the Declaration has already been signed by 77 parliamentarians from 17 states-members of the Council of Europe.

“In our opinion, attempts to rewrite history are unacceptable, it is inappropriate to rewrite the results of the war after 75 years passed, declaring that Germany and the USSR were equally responsible for its outbreak. A similar statement was adopted yesterday by the Estonian Parliament, and this cannot but be deplored. In Poland, the graves of Red Army soldiers who liberated this country are being bulldozed. This should not be tolerated. Therefore, we present you a Declaration on the inadmissibility of revision of the results of World War II and the results of the Nuremberg Trials,” said Petr Tolstoy Tolstoy Petr Olegovich Tolstoy
