Russian parliamentarians laid flowers at the monument to prisoners of war executed in Norway during WWII

The delegation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation arrived in the country to participate in the Sixth Northern Dimension Parliamentary Forum, which will be held in Bodø

In Oslo, near the airport of the Norwegian capital, in the Trandum Forest, a monument was erected in memory of the prisoners of war from the USSR, Norway and Great Britain who were killed by the Nazis.

During the Second World War, at the site where the monument is now located, the Nazis executed 173 Norwegian, 15 Soviet and 6 British citizens.

Members of the delegation laid flowers at the monument and paid tribute to the victims. The Russian delegation includes Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Olga Epifanova Epifanova Olga Nilolaevna Epifanova
