She emphasized the extreme importance and necessity of bilateral cooperation between parliamentarians.
“The task of the members of the State Duma is to legislatively ensure together with our Filipino colleagues the implementation of decisions of the leaders of our countries,” Olga Epifanova said. She noted the special role of parliamentarians in the implementation of projects aimed at development of the Pacific Rim.
Ann K. Hofer, Chairwoman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives of the Congress of the Republic of the Philippines, noted that there is good cooperation between Russia and the Philippines. She assured that the Philippines are ready to make every effort to develop new joint projects.
