According to him, it is possible to create a joint working group of the two countries on the development of the digital economy.
“This is an important segment of the economy, which increasingly shapes the future development of our countries,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma. He urged the parliamentarians of Russia and China to develop common approaches and organize more effective work in the field of scientific and technical innovations.
Another proposal, which was supported by the Chairman of the State Duma and the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China, is the development of interregional cooperation.
“We talked about the possible holding of the forum at the interregional level in one of the border territories of China and Russia so that we could involve regions in this work,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
He emphasized the unacceptability of other states' interference in the sovereign affairs of countries and the need to counter color revolutions. According to the Chairman of the State Duma, it is extremely important e that this conversation should include, first of all, issues of global security. “Everything that has been achieved over the past decades with one stroke of the pen of a number of countries is simply eliminated. This will get the world in big troubles, and it is important for us that at the parliamentary level we not only assess that, but also elaborate measures to counter unfriendly steps,” he said.
Viacheslav Volodin recalled: “70 years ago, our country was the first to recognize the sovereignty of China, and all this time we have been doing everything to strengthen our friendship. Today our relations are special, they can serve as an example for other countries.”
