In addition, the parties discussed the possible venue of the next Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments. It might be Indonesia. Mustafa Şentop said that the Turkish side does not mind it.
This is the third meeting of Viacheslav Volodin and Mustafa Şentopsince the beginning of the year. The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey noted that ”the meetings give impetus to the development of relations between the countries“, and expressed hope that they will hold several more negotiations before the end of the year.
Viacheslav Volodin also discussed the Conference at a meeting with the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Asad Qaiser. Besides, the parties noted the dynamic development of relations between Russia and Pakistan and the fact that countries implement different forms of interaction.
The 4th Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments is being held in Nur-Sultan. The format was initiated by the Speakers of the State Duma and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. Three plenary meetings will be held today, and a final declaration to be adopted after that. The first plenary meeting will be chaired by Viacheslav Volodin.

of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic
of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin. Nursultan Nazarbayev and speakers of the parliaments of the Republic of Korea, Turkey, China and Indonesia, as well as Slovakia, also gave speeches at the opening session. All
of them noted the need for dialogue among parliamentarians around the world to address
global problems and counter the challenges states facing today. They also
emphasized the importance of the format of the Meeting of Speakers.
