“Our inter-parliamentary cooperation should also be developed in the field of harmonization of our laws, especially relating to security issues and environment,” she said. She especially noted the problems of water supply in Kazakhstan, in particular, the shallowing of the transboundary Ural River this year. “We would like to have common approaches and standards on this issue,” Dariga Nazarbayeva stressed.

Dariga Nazarbayeva noted that Russia's firm position on the Syrian conflict was a turning point in this crisis.
“It is necessary to develop own position on the principles of non-interference in the affairs of sovereign states and the absence of double standards,” Viacheslav Volodin stressed and pointed out that this is necessary to do that to avoid provocations that lead to destruction of once thriving countries like it happened in Iraq and Libya.
