The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
and the delegation of the State Duma laid flowers at the Monument of Independence and Humanism in Tashkent.
A bilateral meeting with Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Assembly (Oliy Majlis) of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nuriddinjon Ismailov was held earlier today. Viacheslav Volodin and Nuriddinjon Ismailov signed an Agreement on the creation of a mechanism for inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Russian Federation and Uzbekistan. The agreement provides for the ”creation of a permanent mechanism for cooperation,“ the document says.
During the visit, Viacheslav Volodin will meet with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The parties will discuss the development of relations between our countries.
