According to him, “the memory of the innocent victims, who died in the explosions of apartment buildings in Moscow, Volgodonsk, in the theater center on Dubrovka, Beslan, and as result of other terrible tragedies in Russia and abroad, requires the joining of efforts of all countries in the fight against this evil. State Duma members will continue to work on countering terrorism, including on international platforms. On October 11–12, they will take part in a regional conference in Istanbul together with the parliamentarians of Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and China. The topic of countering terrorism will be one of the main ones at this conference. We also plan to discuss the creation of a single list of terrorist organizations there,” said Viacheslav Volodin.
