He also thanked Russia for its principled position on the issue of non-recognition of Kosovo, “that is, for adherence to the universal principles of international law”, and for its support of the struggle to prevent Kosovo from becoming a member of international organizations.

“This is where Russia's role as a defender and builder of a more equitable international order based on respect for international law and the general principles and goals set forth in the UN Charter becomes apparent,” concluded Djordje Milicevic.

According to him, the cooperation of Serbia and Russia is very fruitful. He thanked the Russian side for the informative dialogue.

The 2nd International Forum ”Development of Parliamentarism“ is held on the initiative of the State Duma on July 1–3. This year, representatives of 132 countries have arrived at the Forum. About 800 foreign guests and delegations from 14 international parliamentary organizations take part in the events. The Forum will also host the Russia-Africa parliamentary conference.
