On Sunday, June 30, as part of the cultural program, guests and participants of the International Forum “Development
of Parliamentarism” visited the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. They enjoyed
opera ‘Masked Ball’.
The premiere of Giuseppe Verdi's “Masked Ball” was held on the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre on April 20, 2018. Antonio Somma's libretto, based on the text
of Augustin Eugène Scribe, conductor — Giacomo Sagripanti, director and stage
designer — David Livermore.
Earlier, the guests of the International Forum “Development of Parliamentarism”
visited the Moscow Kremlin and the Grand Kremlin Palace on a guided tour.
The Second International Forum ”Development of Parliamentarism“ to be held on July 1–3 in Moscow. Earlier, the Chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin said that about 800 foreign representatives from more than 130 countries are expected to take part in the Forum. 85 countries will be represented by official parliamentary delegations, 37 of them are African countries.
