The event was held at the Bolshoi Theater with the participation of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping, who arrived there after the talks at the Kremlin.

A concert of the Pyatnitsky State Academic Russian Folk Choir and the China National Traditional Orchestra was held on the historical stage of the theater.
