The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
held a bilateral
meeting on the sidelines of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective
Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) in Bishek on Sunday.
“Elections
of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take place on June 9. We
know that the delegation of the State Duma to observe elections will be headed
by Sergei Ivanovich (Neverov)

,” said Nurlan Nigmatulin at the meeting.
He noted
that Kazakhstan is ready to create all conditions for the work of observers.
“We are
grateful for your initiative to send a group of observers from the CSTO PA to the upcoming elections. We are ready to receive the mission of the Parliamentary Assembly and create all necessary conditions for its work,
including organization of meetings, visits to all election headquarters of candidates (we have seven registered candidates). Of course, on election day, upon
requests we will organize visits to the polling stations,” he added, assuring on readiness of the Kazakhstani side to hold elections in compliance with all
procedures.
At a meeting on Monday the Council of the CSTO PA will discuss the composition and organization of the work of the group of international observers of the CSTO PA to observe the elections of the President of Kazakhstan.
