said at the meeting with Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of Brazil that he supported the proposal of his colleague
Rodrigo Maia to develop educational projects. “There are a lot of universities
in Russia, more than a hundred are located in Moscow,” he added.
Chairman of the State Duma noted that it is also necessary to focus on exchange of students between the countries.
In addition, parliamentarians emphasized the importance of developing cooperation between parliamentarians of the two countries, including within the framework of the BRICS. It should be reminded that Russia initiated the first meeting of the heads of parliaments of the BRICS in 2015.
Chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin also invited Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies
of the National Congress of Brazil Rodrigo Maia to visit Russia.
