State Duma intends to send an appeal to the OSCE PA because of persecution of the Ukrainian clergy

This was stated by Chairman of the State Duma Viacheslav Volodin. He stressed that the State Duma may consider a special procedure for obtaining citizenship by Ukrainian clergy who become victims of the faith. According to him, the Ukrainian authorities are grossly violating constitutional principles

“In this regard, we are considering the possibility to send a statement on the inadmissibility of inciting religious hatred and persecution of Ukrainian believers and clergy to the OSCE PA, other inter-parliamentary organizations and national parliaments of European countries.
