Deputy Chairman of the State

believes that the entry of the Ukrainian Navy vessels into
the territorial waters of Russia is an attempt to unleash an armed conflict in the Kerch Strait.
“Apparently, this was made by the Kiev authorities in order to contribute to the escalation of the situation, and once again it proves that [President of Ukraine Petro] Poroshenko is the President of War. You should not wait for peace under his presidency — neither in the Donbass, nor anywhere else. If it is such a pre-election move, then, of course, it will destroy a person who expects to gain popularity with a help of a military conflict with Russia,” the parliamentarian said.
He also noted that this “military provocation is carried out prior to a possible upcoming meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with US President Donald Trump at the G20 Summit in Argentina.” “Ukraine has already denounced all agreements with Russia and it means the saddest and most negative scenario can be realized,” the parliamentarian believes.
Russia will not allow carrying out military provocations in its territorial waters, Petr Tolstoy concluded.
Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma Irina Iarovaia
Yarovaya
Irina Anatolievna
, believes that “the entry of Ukrainian Navy vessels
into the Kerch Strait is a defiance, planned offense, with a clear and deliberate intention and desire to be detained because it is a necessary measure
to suppress the offense. The conclusion is that all actions of the Ukrainian authorities
are planned and could be implemented only under the guidance of the country's
top leadership, therefore, the imposition of martial law is part of a political
plan,” the parliamentarian emphasized.
She also added that the policy endorsed by Petro Poroshenko “undermines not only Ukraine, but also undermines the foundations of European security.”
On Sunday, November 25, according to the Federal Security Service of Russia, the ships of the Ukrainian Naval Forces violated the Russian state border, and in the evening they again attempted to carry out illegal actions within the territorial sea of the Russian Federation. There was no reaction to the legal requirements of the FSB and the Black Sea Fleet border guards ships and boats escorting them. To stop the Ukrainian ships, the Russian ships had to use weapons, all three vessels were detained in the Russian territorial waters.
