Alexey Vasilievich also added that the British authorities need the Skripals case to divert public attention from the country’s internal conflicts.
“We stated from the very beginning that a lot of the problems that blown out of proportion in the United States, in the United Kingdom, and in some other countries are related to the domestic political situation. In order to divert the attention of their citizens, voters, the authorities are trying to inflate some new hysteria,” the member of the State Duma concluded.
