”It should be emphasized that [the issues] were quite complex and involved a discussion based on openness and professionalism. But the conversation, in itself, was very keen,“ he noted and said that each country could discuss its problems and challenges that the authorities face.

said.
He added that ‘such openness and an approach, where each country could aggravate
the topics considered as a priority in the conversation, it would most likely
result in the deprivation of the right to vote’ of the national
delegation.
”Today we have heard different points of view. We raised the problems that had been swept under the carpet for a long time and we had debates, we had dialogue“ the Chairman of the State Duma emphasized.
He noted that in the end, the participants came to a decision to support international institutions: the United Nations and the World Trade Organization.
“We have stated our position regarding the inadmissibility of the voluntarist approach of the United States to such key issues as free trade. We see protectionism, we see that these approaches are exclusively aimed at lobbying own interests, they harm the US economy itself, they undermine confidence in the currency, which we all considered being the single world currency,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.
“We talked about the need for a dialogue. And today, despite the fact that we are all different, we represent different countries, we came to the conclusion that the challenges and problems are easier to overcome together. And this is probably the main outcome of the meeting,” concluded Viacheslav Volodin.
