Maja Gojković announced the development of relations between Russia and Serbia. “The presidents are doing a lot for this,” she said and stressed that for their part, parliaments should do everything to implement the decisions that were taken by the heads of state.
The Chairwoman of the Narodna skupština (National Assembly of Serbia) thanked Russia for its support on the international arena, in particular, in the situation with Kosovo.
“In the Council of Europe, we continue to insist that the members of parliaments should not be included in the sanctions lists,” said Maja Gojković and noted that economic and political sanctions should be lifted from members of the State Duma.
She stressed that members of the State Duma will always get a warm reception in Serbia.

noted that parliamentary contacts between Russia and Serbia contribute to the development of a political dialogue between the two countries. He reminded that visit of Maja Gojković to Moscow is scheduled for October 21–23, 2018. The Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Serbia will participate in the third meeting of the Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. Maja Gojković will also give a speech at the plenary session of the State Duma.
