Sergey Anatolievich and religious and political figure of Libya Aref Ali Nayed discussed the issues of Muslim-Christian dialogue, prevention of extremism, particular features of education of youth people and Muslim education.

As Sergei Gavrilov noted that “an important phase of inter-states relations is strengthening dialogue between Russia and Islamic countries and assistance for the restoration of a unique civilization in the states liberated from the terrorist oppressors.” 

Parliamentarian also emphasized that a secular society based on respect for Christianity has been restoring in Libya. 

“Trends towards maintaining and strengthening cooperation between our countries are related also to long-term contractual relations in the fuel and energy complex, the development of oil and gas sectors, the construction of railways and export of military equipment from Russia,“ Sergei Gavrilov explained.
